Oak Barrel Staves

Pictured below are staves from the 1000 gallon wine barrel I mentioned a few posts ago. They are 70" long and 1 5/8" thick.  After surfacing they end up about 1 1/4" thick. Before and after surfacing (above), and clear coated (below).
